Description
The Hubble Ultra Deep Field gathers nearly 10,000 galaxies into one of astronomy’s most consequential views of the distant universe. Spirals, ellipticals, irregular systems, and tiny red galaxies appear across a seemingly empty patch of sky in Fornax.
Hubble assembled the field from long exposures made between 2003 and 2004, allowing astronomers to study galaxies across an immense range of ages and distances. The smallest red objects preserve light from the universe’s early history.
Produced from ESA/Hubble’s official 6,200 × 6,200 master, every offered square paper, framed-and-matted, and 16-inch stretched-canvas size remains above 300 PPI.
