Description
Herbig-Haro 46/47 centers on a tightly bound pair of actively forming stars surrounded by gas and dust. Webb’s NIRCam reveals opposing jets and lobes created as the young stars eject material while continuing to grow.
A delicate blue nebula stretches across the field, while stars and distant galaxies appear through its translucent layers. The wide composition balances the brilliant central system with the vast environment shaped by its outflows.
Produced from the official 14,559 × 8,481 master, every panoramic paper, framed-and-matted, and stretched-canvas option remains above 300 PPI.
