Description
The PHANGS Galaxy Mosaic brings together Webb observations of nearby spiral galaxies studied by the Physics at High Angular resolution in Nearby GalaxieS program.
NIRCam traces stars and compact clusters while MIRI reveals warm dust and glowing structures between the spiral arms. Seen together, the galaxies become a comparative atlas of star formation and galactic architecture.
Produced from ESA/Webb’s official 4,500 × 4,500 master, every offered square paper and framed-and-matted size remains above 300 PPI. No stretched-canvas option is included at this resolution.
