Description
Hokusai is a relatively young impact crater on Mercury, surrounded by an immense system of bright rays thrown outward during the collision that formed it. The rays cross older terrain and remain visible far from the crater itself.
MESSENGER’s global imaging campaign transformed Mercury from a partially mapped world into a planet of sharply resolved basins, scarps, and impact structures.
Produced from NASA’s official 5,375 × 3,800 master, this artwork is offered in two custom paper sizes selected to remain comfortably above 300 PPI while respecting the source composition.
