Description
Messier 4 is a globular cluster containing hundreds of thousands of ancient stars bound together by gravity. At roughly 7,200 light-years away, it is among the closest globular clusters to Earth.
Hubble resolves individual stars across the crowded field, from bright red giants to smaller, fainter members. The result is both a scientific census and a richly textured study of stellar color and density.
Produced from ESA/Hubble’s official 4,165 × 4,132 master, every offered square paper and framed-and-matted size remains above 300 PPI. No stretched-canvas option is included at this resolution.
