Description
Uranus Wide Field shows the ice giant and its ring system with new clarity. Webb’s NIRCam resolves the bright seasonal north polar cap, the faint inner and outer rings, and the diffuse Zeta ring nearest the planet.
Fourteen of Uranus’s moons appear in the field, joined by scattered stars and distant galaxies. Multiple exposures were combined to account for the planet’s rapid rotation and the movement of its moons.
Produced from NASA’s official 3,771 × 3,189 print master, this artwork is limited to fine art paper and framed-and-matted sizes that remain above 300 PPI.
